They were labeled, stamped, put into a box.

The rules and stereotypes defined them.

You must look this way, act that way.

Society dictated how they were to be.

Defined people are not truly free,

they answer to the powers that be.

It is the undefined ones that rise up.

They worry not about what is supposed to be.

Their spirit is free, their minds are released.

Live outside crushed boxes with no labels.

It is in them to thrive with no boundaries.

Undefined people answer to no one.

Undefined people answer their own call.- kkc

My writings come from my heart about people I know or do not know or never have known. The pen is mightier than any weapon there is against mankind. I write what comes to me and have no boundaries. Listen with your heart, read with your soul…peace.

Kimberly, I loved this poem, so true. The less we cling to labels or definitions the more we are free. I cannot understand people who go looking for labels to define themselves especially illnesses, they do not realise they take ownership of it and affirm it as them. The more difficult it is to cure. Great work. Thanks for following me and in return because I like your thinking I am following you.

It is all too easy – and wrong – to label people and put them into small boxes of stereotypes. Enjoyed this.

Never stay in a box someone put you in, keep pushing the boundaries.

Loved this- and you said it well. People allow themselves to be labelled and put in a box..a travesty!

Dear K!! Wow! Really an inspiring and motivational post! Love the topic/theme! Such a true and honest message and a lesson we could all spend more time with, for sure! Seems the leaders of the Herd especially hate hearing the word – “Why?”. LOL! Your piece reminded me of the life and price of living free!!! Bellissimo, My Dear, Bellissimo!!
